ROGER J. MROZ

March 14, 1936 – May 31, 2024

With family by his side, Roger Joseph Mroz peacefully departed this life in his 88 years. With broken and heavy hearts, we said our goodbyes to our husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa in the late afternoon of May 31, 2024.

Roger is lovingly remembered by wife Sylvia, who he would have been married to for 63 years this month. He will be dearly missed by his family, son Brad, grandchildren, Bobby, Gary, Mackenzie (Lindsay), son Darryl (Carla), grandchildren Matthew (Candyce, Charlee), Andrew (Kayla) and Aaron (Kristy), son Glenn, grandchildren, Tera, Russell (Desiree, Casey), son Dean (Terri-Lee), grandchildren Kyle, Mark and Eric and his sister, Phyllis Dreveski. Roger was predeceased by his parents (Joseph and Caroline), brother-in-law Edward Dreveski, and great-grandson Noah.

Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Beausejour. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that if you so desire, please donate to either the Eastgate Lodge Recreation program or the Beausejour Hospital Special Equipment fund as both healthcare facilities and staff were instrumental in Dad’s care.
