Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAUREL BASARABA
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving Mother, Wife, and Nana, Laurel Basaraba. Laurel passed away in Winnipeg on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 74.
Laurel was an amazing, kind and compassionate woman who loved her family unconditionally. She exuded grace and elegance. She was a wonderful listener who always gave the best advice. She was our rock. Laurel was a bright and cheerful person who always had a positive outlook and found the best of every situation. She was a role model to many, who had the patience of a saint and took pride in everything she did. It goes without saying she was THE Best Mom, Wife, and Nana B there ever was!
Laurel will be very sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, especially by her husband of 55 years, Everatt Basaraba; her children, Megan (Casey), Hayley, and Dax (Malorie); and her grandchildren, Audrey, Rocko, Presley, Lux and Lowen.
At her request, a private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, please keep Laurel and our family in your thoughts. Remember to call your mom and tell her you love her!
