It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Karpenko, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, at the age of 71.
Paul passed away suddenly while sitting with his eldest brother, Bill Karpenko, watching their shared loved sport, golf on June 7, 2024. The day of his passing was also the birthday of his beloved youngest brother, Stevie, and son Richard who both predeceased him. He is also predeceased by his parents, Stefan and Maria Karpenko, three other brothers, Peter (Jennifer), John and Mike (Debbie), and sisters, Lena (Alex) and Helena.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his son Paul Christopher (Stacie) Karpenko; grandchildren, Brooke, Abbie, Austin and Carson; big brother Bill; sisters, Mary, Verna (Henry) and Lydia (Dave); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral, 1175 Main Street. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery.

I was shocked to find out today Nov 7 that Paul passed away my deepest condolences to his family. Paul junior I don’t know you at all but I sure feel like I do your dad was so so proud of you telling me all about you and how happy he was to be with his granddaughters. I have so many memories with Paul, I met him when I was 14 he was a police officer then and we grew to be friends forever. I’ll miss his calls not one special occasion went by that he didn’t call. I knew he was staying at his brothers and we were supposed to get together when he felt better. I’ll go to his cemetery to pay my respects.
