Peacefully, on June 13, 2024, Robin Jeremy Doran Caird passed away at the Grace Hospice after a two-year struggle with cancer.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Anne Veronica; sister, Meredith McLeod; brother-in-law Jeff McLeod; nieces, Morgann and Mallory; and aunts, Penny in South Australia and Margaret in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was predeceased by his father, the Reverend Canon John Caird.
Robin was born on February 7, 1964, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He graduated from Stonewall Collegiate and worked at Kub Bakery for over 30 years.
Robin’s greatest loves were reading and collecting. He never went anywhere without his trusty bag of books and he never met a cat he did not love.
Robin will forever be remembered for his gentle and loving nature as well as his unmistakable laugh.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Grace Hospice as well as Robin’s dear friends, Ken and Tom for their loyalty and companionship for over 30 years.
A private family graveside interment of ashes will be held at a later date.

Ann you have our sincere condolences on the passing of Robin. He was a year younger than our daughter Michelle, who passed on in 2006. Growing up in Transcona we remember a red haired little boy full of love and spirit.
