A. IRENE MAKARENKO
Irene was born in Milden, SK in 1932 and passed away on June 29, 2024.
Predeceased by her parents, Ted and Ethel Howell; husband Paul; sister Shirley and brother-in-law Don McKercher, and sister-in-law Donna Howell.
She is survived by beloved sons, David (Carol) of Winnipeg, Darrell (Lynne) of Ottawa, devoted daughter Paula of Winnipeg, granddaughter Melissa (Gilles) and brother Floyd of Outlook, SK.
At Irene’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 24 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or PETA, PO Box 1051, Fort Erie, ON L2A 6C7.
