It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Vanessa Amber Krauchi at the Grace Memorial Hospital on July 24.
Ness is survived by her parents, Myles Krauchi (Diana) and Judy Hasselfield (Bart); and by her much-loved son, Liam Muys. Also left to mourn are stepsiblings, Willow (Darren), Michelyn (Matt), Elliot, Shaw (Keziah) and Matthew (Hannah); as well as Gord and Harlyne Muys and family; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Nessa touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kindness and deep generosity of spirit. She was devoted to her son Liam and loved working with children as an EA, room supervisor and crossing guard. Her passion for her cats was legendary.

I’m just heartbroken to see that Vanessa has passed. We have been friends for more than 40 years. We had lost touch and only reconnected in the last couple years. She was beautiful inside and out. She spoke about her son with so much love every time we met when I would visit Winnipeg. Sending love to all her family and friends. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Venessa. She was my neighbor for the last 21 months. She always had a beautiful smile and always had a soft spoken Hi. Liam I will also miss you as a neighbor. To Vanessa’s family and son Liam,I am so very sorry for your loss. I too live at Sturgeon Park House and used to see Vanessa different times and she would always smile and say “Hi” She was such a nice person.
