It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mike Bartmanovich.
Mike will be dearly missed by his loving wife Carol; his children, Jason (Katherine) and Laura; and his beautiful grandchildren, Max, Gavin and Cassidy; also, his extended family: mother Jan, Dan and Faith, Sharon, Brenda, Sasha, and Hudson; mother-in-law Lydia, Deb and Jim, Bill and Darlene and his uncle Richard; as well as many nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. Mike will be lovingly remembered as well by his many friends, neighbours and fellow residents of Victoria Beach.

I was shocked to hear of Mike's passing. My past wife and myself spent many good times at his parents home celebrating birthdays, Xmas, and just family get together. Mike had a great sense of humor. Would make you laugh. Enjoyed his stories and his beautiful smile. Mike left this world too soon. He had many friends, loved golfing and ball. Hope you are golfing now in Heaven Mike. Going to miss you. My Sincere Condolences go out to his wife Carol, and his children, and all his immediate family. God bless. R.I. P. - Posted by: Brent Tingey (Friend ) on: Sep 05, 2024

I belong to a great group of golfers called the Hobos, and while we are members of this group, one guest we always looked forward to having along with us was Mike. In fact, we shared a round with him at Grand Pines on July 28. For many years, Mike would join us at Grand Pines or Pinawa, and it was always a treat to golf with him; he could lighten the day even if we were playing poorly. He had an infectious laugh, and we would always smile whenever he left a putt short and said "Oh, hit the ball, Nancy!" We will miss sharing the game and his companionship. I truly believe there is golf in the afterlife; God, Mike is coming for a round - give him a Mulligan or two. - Posted by: Stan Michalak (Golfing friend) on: Aug 18, 2024

I am truly shocked and saddened to hear about Mike. I worked him when he was an artist. Condolences to his family and friends. He had the million dollar smile always in a great mood loved working with him. I remember one day he accidentally burned a whole in his art table. OMG Barts desk was on fire! Hahaha! When I lived in Transcona I used to run into him years ago. So Long BART! - Posted by: Cheryl Sudyko (Co-worker ) on: Aug 10, 2024

I am truly saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. We lived on the same street and eventually Mike and Carol bought our home on Stony Lake Bay. He was so much fun to play ball against and will have many fond memories. His smile lit up a room. Sending Carol and family heartfelt condolences and will keep you all in our prayers.
