With profound sadness, the family announces the sudden passing of Bev at her home in Winnipeg.
Bev was predeceased by her life partner Percy Bird, her parents, Edward and Grace Heald and her brother Bruce Heald. She is survived by her brother Edward (Ted) Heald of Newmarket, Ontario.
Bev’s gentle, kind and generous spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends and precious adopted cat, Buffy. Her love of humanity, nature and animals led Bev to selflessly step in as caregiver to so many who crossed her path.
In accord with her wishes, Bev will be laid to rest alongside her dear parents.
"May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."
Donations may be sent to D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Centre (Winnipeg) in memory of Bev’s lifelong devotion to acts of kindness.
