It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Thérèse Manaigre (née Désorcy) on August 21, 2024, at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home. She was 99.
She is survived by Roméo, her loving husband of 76 years, her sons, Phil (Catherine) and Chuck, and daughters, Louise (Robert), Joanne (Art), Denyse (Don); grandchildren, Christian, Shawna, Michelle, Justin, Carl, Erika, Gabriel, Janelle, Camille, Nahanni; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Mattix, Leo, Austin, Romeo, Maisyn, Ellis, Nixon, Jack, Ben.
A devoted wife and cherished mother, Thérèse lived a life of quiet strength and unwavering love. Known for her gentle spirit and reserved nature, she found great joy in the simple moments spent with her “Méo” and her family.
Maman laisse derrière elle une famille qui l’aimait tellement. Elle a toujours voulu nous protéger et sans aucun doute continuera de le faire.
A special thanks to the staff at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home for all the compassionate care that Maman received.
In keeping with Maman’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an interment service will be held at a later date.
