Fellow professional but not in the same league although it was his way to make you feel you were. Genuinely interested and welcoming he was among the very best and truly lived up to his monicker. My sincerest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Stephen Read (Fellow Professional) on: Dec 03, 2024

I was so lucky to have worked for Jim in the pro shop at St Charles CC for three summers during the late 1970’s. It was the best, most enjoyable job that I have ever had. I looked forward to going to work every day. Jim was a great role model and easy to work for. I learned many lessons watching Jim enact people. Of course it helped that we share a love for the game of golf. RIP Mr Collins - Posted by: W. Charles Morgan (Employee ) on: Sep 22, 2024

I had the good fortune to play many rounds of golf with Jim in Titusville, Florida. He was always a joy to be with. He was a great golfer and wonderful role model. Jim was kind, caring, fun, interested and interesting, a great example of the kind of friend, spouse, parent and mentor that we could all learn from. He will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Paul Moase (Friend) on: Sep 14, 2024

- Posted by: Claude (Cousin) on: Sep 14, 2024
