SHIRLEY RURAK
The family of Shirley Rurak (nee Popowich) announces with deep sorrow of her sudden passing on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the age of 76.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Tammy and Shawna, grandchildren, Dylan (Kayla), Daryl, Emalia and Lillian, great-grandchildren, Avery and Rowyn, brother Stanley (Annette) Popowich, sister Donna Thomson, sister-in-law Diane Rurak (Clarence Borys), nieces and nephews, Debra (Bill) Zeleny, Cheryl (Jeff) Untereiner, Bryan (Paulette) Patchin, Jason (Verena) Popowich, Marla (Nolan) Efford, Meghan and Owen Thomson and her beloved cat Molly. Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Merv, parents, Bill and Olga Popowich (nee Furman).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with viewing commencing at 9:30 a.m.
