Shirley, I was so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. What a great guy. It was my honour to have been a part of his life. One of my favourites, as he harassed me as much as I did to him. He made my day fun when he was part of it. My hope is that he is now at peace and is now up there harassing those who have gone before him. Telling them all dad jokes. Omg, some were so bad. My condolences to you and your kids. And be comforted in the fact that he is at peace now and is with you still every moment of every day. - Posted by: Charlene (Homecare) on: Sep 15, 2024

So sorry for your loss Shirley and family. I didn't know any of you well, but of course, growing in Oak River, I heard your names being spoken and knew the families. When I was in college in Brandon in 1971, I got the opportunity of going on a student exchange to Belgium and needed to get a passport. Of course it was all 'last minute' as things tended to be back then. Dad immediately told me to find Lorne Gregorash as he was a Brandon Police Officer. He would help me out and HE DID! I was just a kid, he didn't know, but he knew the family and my brothers of course. He got me that passport and I went to Belgium. I've never forgotten that act of kindness and commitment. It's lovely to 'keep in touch' through big brother Jim now adays. Take care of yourself and say 'hi' to the rest of the family for me. - Posted by: Barb (Hannah) Bradley (Friend) on: Sep 14, 2024
