It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Frank Slivinski on September 29, 2024.
Frank was born to Anna and Nicholas Slivinski, at their family home on Woodbine Avenue in north Winnipeg, on March 10, 1926.
Frank was predeceased by his dear wife Florence in September 2015, by his parents, Anna and Nicholas, and by his siblings, William, Genevieve, Caroline and Angela. Frank was also predeceased by his grandson Corey Habiluk, daughter Catherine Nizio and daughter Teresa Habiluk.
Dad is survived by his children, Marguerite Grela (Donald), Pat Sheppard (Neil), Ken Slivinski (Liz), Mark Slivinski (Angela), Jacqueline Chevis (James), and sons-in-law, Ed Nizio and Patrick Habiluk. Dad is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held at Holy Ghost Parish, 342 Pritchard Avenue, Winnipeg, on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
