With deep sadness in our hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Mildred Szczurko, age 90 years at Fred Douglas Lodge on September 23, 2024. To mourn her passing and will fondly remember by her two sons, Jerry of Winnipeg and Brian in California, two brothers John and Ron Grzenda along with their families. Left also to cherish her memories are her godchildren, families and friends as well.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 2008, her parents and many siblings and in laws. Mildred met Stanley in Winnipeg, MB and were married at Holy Ghost Church in 1958. She was a loving, caring, kind and had a generous heart of gold. Her cooking and love for baking her famous cherry cheesecake will be missed by all.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
