In Loving Memory
Astrid Zimmer died peacefully in her home surrounded by her four children on a beautiful Winnipeg autumn afternoon. She died the way she lived her life – with courage and conviction. On her passing a warm summer wind gathered force, her spirit leaving the world with all the strength with which she lived her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Astrid’s memory may be made to Harvest Manitoba.

Sorry your memorial service was missed by Ed and I, Though we weren't there our thoughts were and are with you. Thank you for your hospitality every time we were together with you and Bruno. The best memories were in Bucerias, Mexico where we always had a ton of fun. In Winnipeg, joining you for dinners, and spending time at your home was always a fun adventure. You will be remembered as a smart, well read, knowledgeable woman and full of fun. Ed and I will miss the gatherings with you and Bruno and we will miss you.
