On October 18, 2024 Helen Marie Doerksen (nee Friesen) was taken peacefully while surrounded by her family to be with her Lord and Heavenly Father.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves behind her husband Dave; her three daughters, Shirley (Wayne) Preusentanz, Sharon Guzzardi, Laura (Darren Peshke); her grandchildren, Danielle Preusentanz, Melissa (Jeremy) Hitching, Michael (Alexandra) Guzzardi, Trent Peshke as well as great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Tyana, Edison, Naomi, Logan, Owen, Noah, and Addison; one brother-in-law Bill Siemens and sister-in-law Mary Heppner. She was predeceased by her parents, parents-in-law, her sister Esther and brother and sister in-laws.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sage Creek Cemetery.
