It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob on October 19, 2024.
He leaves to mourn his mother Frances, brother Barry (Karen), nephew Steven (Megan), niece Kathleen (Michael) and great-nephews, Matthew and Mitchell, along with many friends and family. Bob was predeceased by his father John.
Bob grew up on the family farm in Fraserwood and moved to the city shortly after graduation and started a career in insulating. But farming ran deep in his veins and he returned to the family homestead to continue what he was meant to do.
Bob had many interests, he loved the outdoors, going hunting and fishing with family and friends and his latest passion was cooking.
The family would like to thank all the friends, family, neighbours and community members that have supported us during this time.
Pallbearers will be Steven Hudyma, Michael Melnychuk, Jared Mitchell, Ryan Farrell, Brett Siatecki and Tyron Moore.
Flowers are gratefully declined, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church in Gimli. Father Yaroslav Buduykevych will be officiating.
