With heavy hearts, we announce that Cecil passed away on October 8, 2024, in Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 104.
He was predeceased by his wife Mickey (Wilemina); son Lloyd; grandson Jesse; and siblings, Clifford, Thelma, and Marjorie. He is survived by his children, Wendy, Blake (Shelley), Shawn (Lisa), Bob (Lois), Gregory (Joyce), and Grant (Phyllis); grandchildren, Kirsty, Megan, Mark, Courtney, Braxtton, Riley, Brett, Bronson, Sjado, and Teyk.
The family expresses gratitude to Ethical Death Care for their touching photo-biography video honouring Cecil's life, accessible through the ‘tributes’ link at the bottom of this obituary.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Blake. I remember when I first moved to Harstone Road and was looking to go visit Kathy Tchir all I knew was her first name and that her dad worked for CN. My grandfather also worked for CN and knew a guy from work who lived on Harstone and that was Cec Robinson! It’s so funny to hear that name again after all these years!
