It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Don (Donnie) Craig Briscoe in the evening on October 16 2024, at the Concordia Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with Cancer. He passed away peacefully in the presence of his family and loved ones.

Don was born on October 11, 1953, in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the Misericordia Hospital. Don had a full life. He attended Gladstone and Earl Grey school, and then later Kelvin High School where he graduated in 1971. He was a gifted baseball player from his youth into his early adult years.
Donnie loved sports of all kinds and was an avid golfer – he loved playing and watching all sports, travelling and visiting friends across the globe, and attending sporting events with his family members.

After retiring from the police force, he worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Maples Collegiate and other schools within Seven Oaks School Division – he enjoyed his time working with youth.
The family wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to all medical staff and health care professionals who provided compassionate care to him in his time of need.
