Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • So very sad to hear of Betty's passing. We spent a lot of fun times together in Fort Churchill growing up and some here in Winnipeg after we re-connected. My heartfelt Condolences to Chuck, Adele ( and family) and Angela and especially to twin sister Pat and sisters Jennifer and Cynthia. Our families were together a lot, parents and siblings over the years. Thanks for the memories. - Posted by: Helen (Warner) Patrick (friend) on: Oct 26, 2024

  • Betty was the first friend I made when my “hydro” husband and our children moved to Churchill in 1981. Our friendship lasted long past those years. I adored her daughters Adele and Angela and treasure the happy memories of our time together. Betty loved her twin daughters more than any thing on this earth and definitely raised two sweet girls. Both unique, each much loved. The girls will be well rejoiced by all the angels. RIP My friend. 🌹♥️ - Posted by: Laura McCombe (Neighbour and friend) on: Oct 26, 2024

  • Attended school with Betty and Pat at Duke of Edinburgh school in Churchill Man. and as well with Betty at Keewatin Community College in The Pas Man. in the fall of 1969. A few of us from Churchill chummed around while attending the tech school in The Pas as being from out of town we stayed in the school’s residence. On graduating in the spring of 1970, we returned to Churchill but have remained friends since. When my wife, Marnie and I returned to Churchill in 1979, Marnie and Betty became good friends, and have remained in contact all these years. Thoughts of her telling stories, while staring off into space, obviously visualizing and reliving the event that she was relating will be a fond memory. She will be missed. Our Condolences to Chuck, Angela, Adele, Twin sister Pat, and sister Jennifer. R.I. P. Betty. - Posted by: George and Marnie Langlois and family (Friends) on: Oct 26, 2024
