YVONNE TRUPP
Peacefully on October 29, 2024, Yvonne Trupp passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 87.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Lily Guspodarchuk; sister Geraldine; and brothers, Marvin and Nestor.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Allan; sons, Bradford (Barbara) and Michael (Glenda); six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; sister Iris (Jack) Bell; brother-in-law Larry (Margaret) Trupp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Yvone was born July 6, 1937, in Buchanan, SK, where she attended school and after graduation moved to Winnipeg to work as a bookkeeper. She met Allan in 1957 and married on May 17, 1958. Yvonne and Allan raised their family while living in Winnipeg, Deep River, ON, and Pinawa, MB. Yvonne spent many years as a volunteer secretary for the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd.
Yvonne loved to travel, and she and Allan enjoyed trips to Europe, Hawaii, and numerous destinations in the USA. In their retirement years, they spent portions of several winters in Texas and Florida.
Yvonne was very family-oriented and took great pride in the accomplishments of her sons and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations made, in Yvonne’s memory, to CancerCare Manitoba, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service will be held in the Church of the Good Shepherd in the future.
