Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH (KEN) CLIFFORD WALTER POERSCH
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather on November 6, 2024 at Pembina Place Personal Care Home. As love would have it, Ken joined the love of his life, Lorraine, who left us on the same day four years ago.
Ken is survived by his four daughters, Catherine Drennan (Kevin), Christine Thomas (Ken Hanna), Jacqueline Poersch-Burns (Ken), and Colleen Normand (Alain); his nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and as per our parents’ wishes, they will be interred at a graveside service which will take place in the summer of 2025 in Brunkild, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dad to the TMUC Building Fund, 209 Yale Ave. West, R2C 1T9 either by mail or online at www.canadahelps.org.
The family expresses gratitude to Ethical Death Care for their touching photo-biography video honouring Ken’s life, accessible through the 'tributes' link at the bottom of this obituary.

Our fathers worked together at CN, and I remember your Dad picking up mine, Tommy Hallem, to go to work. Our families knew each other for years, as our neighbourhood was very close. You have my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father. - Posted by: Christine Hallem Ward (Neighborhood friend) on: Nov 17, 2024

Remembering 'the good ole Brunkild days' with Kenny & Lorraine whirling around the dance floor at the Brunkild Hall. Special thoughts for his beautiful family that took such good care of him & whom he was so very proud of. Heartfelt sympathies to all the family.
