On a cold, rainy November 4, 2024 Mike Shylo, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away.
Mike leaves to mourn his wife Margaret (Jacques) who notes that, She lost her best friend, husband, lover and father of their children; daughter Tanya (Jim); son Steven (Carmen); Grumps to Mehkai, Rowen, Matthew and Elizabeth; brothers, Stefan and Don (Cathy); sister Martha (Don); nieces Kaley (Doug) and Kristy (Graham); as well as Dorothy Jacques, Deidre, Kelly, Jim Jacques (Chickie), Pam, Christy, Chad, and Ken Jacques.
As per Mike's wishes, no memorial is planned. He fought a great fight.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation in his name to the Movement Disorder Clinic c/o the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
