ROBERT BERG
Robert (Bob) Berg, aged 63 years, of Grunthal, MB, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his father Arne (Jack) and siblings, Randy, Anita (Ron) and Dan (Jenn), and niece Makayla.
He was predeceased by his mother, Jannie, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Bob was a gentle soul who exuded grace in difficulty, something we can learn from him.
He loved sports from college basketball and football to hockey, soccer and rugby as well as playing cards with his family.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52W, Steinbach, MB, with a private family interment to follow at a later date.
Flowers are graciously declined. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or to Peer Connections Manitoba (formerly Manitoba Schizophrenia Society).
Bob appreciated the help from family and staff of Greendale Estates, De Salaberry District Health Centre and CancerCare. A special thanks to Lena who always made him smile with her straightforward approach.
