LOIS COLQUHOUN
Lois Colquhoun (nee Boyd) passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024 with family by her side.
Lois married Robert Hackenschmidt and moved to Trail, BC. A short time later they moved to Dauphin then settled in Brandon where they raised their two sons.
Lois was predeceased by Robert April 15, 1990; her parents; brother and other family members.
Lois met and married Dale Colquhoun. They enjoyed traveling and visiting.
Lois treasured her family and friends and kept in contact as much as possible. Her love for nature showed thru many pictures she had of creatures, landscapes and plants. Retirement was spent enjoying puzzles and spending time with people.
Lois will be remembered by her husband Dale; sons, Kelly (Cathy and children), Jordy (Megan); granddaughters, Sawyer and Kate.
A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the care given to Lois in this short illness. Appreciate all the care at Palliative Care in Assiniboine Centre.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Lois. I met her back in the mid 60’s and worked with her at the Manitoba Telephone System in Engineering. I had gone to high school with her sister Lynn, so we something in common. About 2018 or 2019 we touched base again. Just knowing her brings a smile. She was a lovely person.
