With aching hearts, the family deeply mourns the passing of our beloved mom, grandma, great-gramma, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend, Lavina (Lovey). After a courageous battle, Lavina passed at 93 years young with dignity and a smile empowering all that knew her.
The family is grateful to Ethical Death Care for their touching photo-biography video honouring Lavina's life, accessible through the ‘tributes’ link at the bottom of this obituary.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).

I've known Lavina for almost 50 years. Charlie and her hosted many gatherings at the cottage in Sandy Hook ...Charlie always proudly showing off his evergreen trees and his pride of his lovely wife, Lavina. She will be greatly missed by her family who cherished her many talents and reaped so many wonderful memories in years gone by. A lovely lady. A lovely friend.
