With much sadness the family of Sylvia Paskaruk announces her death.
Sylvia was the fifth child born to her parents in the town of Dauphin, Manitoba. She had a strong work ethic and enjoyed working until her retirement at age 85. Sylvia moved to Winnipeg early on where she met Frank Paskaruk who she married in July of 1955. They welcomed children, Wayne, Debbie, Tim, Larry, Jim and Phillip.
The family is grateful to Tim and Maureen who have been looking after Mom, especially in the last few months. We are grateful to those in the health system who have helped as Mom’s life came to an end.
Sylvia was predeceased by her beloved Frank, her parents, Nick and Anne Rewniak, siblings, Peter, David, Walter, Orest, Melvin, Fred, Carl, Rose, Margaret and Sonia.
Sylvia is survived by her children: Wayne (Joanne), Debbie (Brendan), Tim (Maureen), Larry (Kathy), Jim (Abby) and Phillip (Lori); 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sister Elizabeth and brother Victor.
A memorial will be held at a later date.

Hi Paskaruk family. I’m so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Even though we all weren’t very close but the love of family is and always will be there. Auntie Sylvia was always a sweet auntie to me and I regret not visiting more to all related people before they pass. I just heard the news from my daughter thankfully she stays up to date with family. Again my deepest sympathy’s. Hope you all stay healthy and may happiness find you every day of your life. Sylvia and I worked for same company I worked at the Delta, BC branch it was always a pleasure talking to her when ever I called the Winnipeg branch.
