Helena peacefully passed away at Holy Family Home.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, her parents, siblings, nephew and niece. She is survived by two sisters in Poland and a number of relatives in Winnipeg, Ontario, and all over Europe.
She immigrated to Canada from Poland, and made her home in Winnipeg. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing and travelling. She was volunteering at Holy Ghost Parish in Winnipeg.
Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with viewing starting at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.

I remember when I was young, visiting you and "Uncle Stan" in the North End. You were so close to my parents that you were my godmother at my Baptism. I enjoyed visiting your house when I was young. Dear Helena, Although I only really knew you from a distance as I was a child my first memory of you, the words I’ve heard growing up and the feelings that family here in Ontario have for you makes me regret not getting to know you better.
