I only knew Nellie for the last 4 years being a Health Care Aide. Every morning I would get her up at the same time and she was always determined to smile and help as much as she could even though it did take me longer with her stubborn character but she did it with a smile and always took care of me too. She would offer me her food at meal times, her stories to keep me sane while working. In April 2024 I was in a car accident and when I returned back to work it was so hard on my body, I would sneak into Nellie’s room to stretch and she was so determined one day for me to lay in her bed or in the floor so I could rest. It almost made me cry. So I went and got a clean blanket from our linen area and laid beside her on the floor while she was laying in her bed and I pretend talked Polish. YOU WILL BE REMEMBERED! - Posted by: Kelsey (Health Care Aide) on: Jan 19, 2025

My deepest condolences to Nellie's family. Nellie was my grandparents' housekeeper for many years, and I loved spending time with her. I remember her saying, "Hello, Lisa." She will be deeply missed. - Posted by: Alissa Miller (family friend) on: Dec 14, 2024
