JACOB FROESE
Jacob Froese passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Jake was born in Einlage, Ukraine, on April 23, 1934. He was the third eldest child of Johann and Anna (Krause) Froese. His brother Hans predeceased him in 1945. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Clara (Horch) of 62 years, son Justin and family, as well as his daughter Adrienne (Glenn) Wiebe; his sisters, Erna Friesen, Anita Penner; his brothers, Frank (Verna) Froese and Walter (Deena-Kay) Froese; half-sister Natasha Kamunskya, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jake’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on December 27, 2024, at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street, Winnipeg.
