BRYNNE-LEE WILD

April 30, 1950 - December 2, 2024

Brynne passed away December 2, 2024, at 74 years of age, after a short stay in the hospital.

She will be dearly missed, leaving behind her partner, Maurice McCracken; sister, Adaire Wild (Craig); nephew, Cameron; brother, Dana Wild (Helen); nephew, Connor; niece, Vanessa; and cousins, Michael Dartnell and Susan Dearlove.

Brynne was born in Winnipeg in 1950 and resided in the North End during her early years, later residing in different areas of the city.

As a child, Brynne spent her summers at the family cottage at Winnipeg Beach where she enjoyed all the summer activities and family fun.

As a teen she liked to ice skate and roller skate, and while attending high school she loved belonging to the drama club. After high school she was employed with a dental office for a few years, but later she dedicated the remainder of her working years with troubled youth. During this time Brynne decided she wanted a pet dog, so Bailey the bulldog appeared on the scene. Bailey was truly pampered and Brynne loved caring for her and taking her with her whenever she could.

Brynne loved to cook in her early years. Whether it be trying new recipes or cooking old family favorites, possibly with a martini or two on the side. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and tried to replicate her grandmother’s Hungarian cooking, which she was very successful at. She was also a passionate reader starting at an early age, enjoying a variety of genres.

  • Goodbye Dearest B. I will miss our long distance telephone chats, raunchy birthday and Christmas cards. A star is gone from my sky, and the world is a lonelier place. Little John - Posted by: John Wiznuk (long time friend) on: Jan 12, 2025

  • I was so sorry to hear of Brynn’s death. Brynne and my brother Peter were very close in their younger years and she came to the house often . Always smiling and warm she exuded love and humour when with us. I believe they remained friend throughout their lives. I was touched when she attended Peter’s celebration. I’m sorry for your loss - Posted by: Jennifer dubienski (acquaintence) on: Dec 29, 2024
