  • Annette and family, along with our Connelly cousins, we would like to offer our sincerest condolences to all of you. Charlie was a family favourite, kind, funny and a lot of fun. He, along with Bing, Brian and mon Oncle Ti’bis were a weekly fixture at Mom and Dad’s when we were growing up. I remember how much Jackie, Priscilla and I looked forward to those visits. They showered us with affection and of course a lot of teasing ensued. A Perrault family trait. Mona and I had plans to attend but unfortunately my grandsons illness prevented us from attending and the last thing we wanted to do was to share it all with you. Annette, know that we are thinking and hold you near and dear. Love, Pat, Mona and siblings. - Posted by: Pat Ledieu (Cousin) on: Feb 01, 2025

  • When Charlie first came to Winnipeg he worked with my husband on carpet installations and he lived with my parents. He was fun to be with and always happy and cheerful. After living with such a happy family all his life, it was just natural for him to be happy every day and always happy to see us. Winnipeg living was a big change for him and he adjusted to it in his usual cheerful way of living. The last time I saw Charlie was when he stopped in one day on his way out to St. Laurent. I am so sorry Annette that you have lost Charlie. The whole family will miss him. When ever I looked at him it was like looking at my dad, Ernie Connelly, they were so similar to each other. We got to know Charlie at the big house with Pat and Aurise whenever we visited there. Just a wonderful family. Sad that Charlie has passed from this life now. - Posted by: Adaire Connelly Ward (cousin) on: Jan 26, 2025

  • A great man and a wonderful uncle. The man who was always smiling and had the unique laugh that you could never forget. I remember when he took me ice fishing when I was younger. He fished commercially and I went to help one day. Didn’t think we were gonna get back. We got caught in a blizzard. I don’t think we had a GPS. But we made it back safely. my sympathies to his wonderful wife Annette and all of his siblings. He’s gone to heaven and we will all see him again on day! - Posted by: David & Odette Delipper (Nephew) on: Jan 24, 2025

  • We are so incredibly sorry to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing! Our deepest of sympathy goes out to you Annette, and his siblings. Always laughing, teasing and joking are memories I have of this gentle man with huge, wonderful hugs! He will absolutely be missed by anyone who had the honour and privilege to know him! - Posted by: Lynne & Ernie Fréchette (Niece) on: Jan 24, 2025

  • Happy journey my cousin. You will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate to know you. Heaven claimed another angel, and a reunion with Ma Tante Aurise, mon Oncle Pat and your brothers and sisters who went before you. Until we meet again. - Posted by: Norbert Langelier (cousin) on: Jan 24, 2025
