On January 27, 2025, Adeline, beloved wife of the late Walton (Wally) Thomson, passed away peacefully, with family by her side. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and many dear friends.
She started her professional life as a bicycle courier, and then worked for several decades at the Wawanesa Insurance Company. She was a long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and the Elmhurst Golf Club. She lived with passion and was loved by many. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, aunt, neighbour, and friend who cherished her 96 years of life.
Special thanks to Irene Osinchuk for her years of extraordinary support. Special thanks as well to the staff at Grace Hospital, Seven Oaks Hospital, and Home Care Services for their compassion and care during the last stages of Adeline’s journey.
A celebration of Adeline’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Avenue.
A charitable donation may be made in Adeline’s memory to The Dream Factory Foundation, a Manitoba-based organization close to Adeline’s heart, that makes wishes come true for children battling life threatening illnesses.
