JOAN KOSOWAN
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Joan Kosowan on February 4, 2025, at Jocelyn House Hospice after a year-and-a-half battle with cancer.
Joan is predeceased by her husband, William Kosowan; and parents, Minnie and John Masyk. Joan is survived by her children, Dean, Jeffrey (Leanne); grandchildren, Anna and Madeline; and brother Jim (Mary Anne).
At Joan’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at a later date. You are invited to pay your respects to Joan at any time between 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 13, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jocelyn House Hospice, 177 Egerton Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 2W7, or Holy Trinity Cathedral, 1175 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2W 3S4.

We were greatly saddened to read of Joan’s passing. She had been for many years, an enthusiastic and fully committed member of our “I Am 55+ Exercise Group” at The Church of All Saints in Transcona. She has been, and will be missed.
