Rose passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Grace Hospital with family by her side. She was born on October 6, 1938.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons Sonny (Barb) and Jimmey (Diana) and her precious grandchildren Stephanie, Justin and Krista.
Rose was born and raised in Charleswood, an avid cook and gardener. She spent many hours tending to her flowers and vegetable garden. She operated various cafeterias over the years for MTS, MLCC and Assiniboine Curling Club sharing her delicious home cooked recipes.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the 4th Floor Staff at the Grace Hospital for their kindness and care.
Cremation has taken place, interment and private family service at a later date.

My condolences to your family. I knew Rose from my days working with MTS on Ellice Ave. She was a beautiful person and a wonderful cook. When the weekend came and there was left over soup or food she would give me the left overs. She feed me well lol I have thought of Rose many times and remember how delicious her butter tarts were.
