PAULINE MELINA QUIGLEY
It is with sadness we announce the peaceful death of our beloved mom, grandmother and great grandmother on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Riverview Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, at the age of 101 years.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, James Quigley, parents Michael and Barbara Seawaldt, brothers Connie, Ed and Leo and sister Lucy.
She is survived by children; Jackie (Bob), Ed (Diana) Quigley, Gerry (Warren) Bock and Mark Quigley; Grandchildren, Carolyn (Pat) Gosselin, David, Shaun (Nicky) Quigley, Mike (Martine) Quigley, Lora (Adam) Hayward and Tara (Carl) Reimer; Great-grandchildren, Brayden, Mason, Kyra, Leo, Joel and Lily. As well she leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews.
Pauline was the youngest in her family. She was born and lived her life in Winnipeg. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School from Grade 1 to 9 and St Mary’s Academy from Grade 10 to 12. She went to business college and met her future husband at her first job. She loved to cook and bake and her home became a gathering place where all could enjoy her dinners and baking. She enjoyed travelling over the years and especially the times spent at her daughter’s cabin. As well she loved bowling and bingo.
Mom suffered from dementia in her later years and spent the last 4 years in Riverview Personal Care Home. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 West for the care and support they provided.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 13 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive, Winnipeg.
