Verna was predeceased by her spouse Louis, son John, and son-in-law George. Survived by her children, Veronica (Allan), Sonnie (Janice), and Fran; three generations of grandchildren, many family and friends and a legacy of love. We will all miss Verna’s gentle, loving soul and love her always.
A service will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 2:30 p.m., at Fran's house.

I really enjoyed the times I got to see and talk to Verna. After she got her new cabinets and I was reinstalling her sink in the kitchen. It was getting late so I ordered her a pizza and we shared a slice. Verna was a wonderful person with a unique sense of humour. I was saddened when she moved out of our apartment building. Sorowkoski Rochon family, we are saddened to read of Verna passing. I grew up with her son John and she always made me feel welcome.
