BEN FRIESEN
Ben passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at the Misericordia Health Centre.
Dad was born on November 8, 1934, in Langevin, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Diedrich and Maria, his wife Helen (nee Wiebe), his second wife Pat (Wade nee Rooke) his brother Dick, sister Nettie, seven brothers-in-law-and three sisters-in law. He leaves to mourn his loss his four sons, Gerald, aka Fritz (Julie), Glenn (Marilyn), Greg (Dale), Gord (Teresa); grandchildren, Jordan (Jenn), Tyler (Ashley), Carleigh (Diana), Katrina (Zac), Brittany (Tony), Keelin, and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther, Lena (Ben), Diane (Harry). From the Wade family, children, Bruce (Lisa), Leslie (John), and Jim (Charlene), four grandchildren and their spouses, and one great-grandchildren. Pat’s sister Laurie (John).
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield St., Winnipeg.
