It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Agnes at the age of 95 years, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
Mom was born June 1, 1929, and married our dad Aime on June 7, 1947, and resided in Sandilands all of her life. She worked for a few years at Friendly Family and also planted trees for the Forestry Department.
She enjoyed gardening, fall suppers, dancing, listening to Saturday night music on the radio. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles. You could always find her outside during the summer doing something.
Mom is survived by her daughters, Rose (Frank), Marlene (David), and two grandsons, Ryan (Jacqueline), and Scott (Stacey). Mom is also survived by her sister Florence and her family and brother George (Anne) and his family.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Aime in 2014.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for their care of mom during her hospital stay.
As per mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family ash interment will be held at a later date.
