It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jozsef (Joseph) Bacsa on February 21, 2025, at 88 years of age. Joe is survived by his partner, Yvonne Boisjoli.
Joe immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1970, where he trained as a welder at Red River College. Joe was a lifetime member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers and did structural steel work on Manitoba power generation dams and buildings still standing in Winnipeg today. Joe had a love of Cadillacs, of which he owned several over his life. He also enjoyed dancing and frequented several Winnipeg Legions.
Yvonne would like to thank the dedicated, professional and compassionate care extended by the staff at Concordia Place care home over the last few years.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at Green Acres Funeral Home.
