It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lesley Owens on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the age of 77.
Lesley was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother.
Her memory will be celebrated by her two sons, Kurt Owens (Tracy Stasynec) and grand-dog Wiser, Tony Owens (Katie Stephenson); grandchildren Will and Chloe. She will also be remembered by her sister Linda Jorgenson (Alan) and family, and brother Gary Shotbolt and family.
Lesley was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Frankie Shotbolt, and husband Terry Owens and are now reunited in eternal rest.
Lesley was known for her boundless love, warmth and unwavering devotion. Lesley’s family was the center of her world, and she poured her love and energy into nurturing and supporting them.
In accordance with Lesley’s wishes, there will be no service held. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.

Lesley and I arrived at the Nurses Residence in PlaP at the same time in 1966. We have remained friends since. Our children celebrated Birthdays together. Lesley was a girlfriend that you could just take up where you left off and it was normal. We worked together for the Province of Manitoba on the Infant Stim Program.
