On April 24, 2025, in the presence of her loving family, Beverley Anne Tytgat was released from the shackles of her pain and under her own terms passed away peacefully in her home at Concordia Village and flew away to be with her God in Heaven.
Bev is survived by her husband and soul mate of 41 years, John Tytgat; her son Cameron Tytgat (Donna); and daughter Candice Semeniuk (Joel); as well as her grandchildren, Jenna and Ethan, and Joshua and Gabriel. She is also survived by her sister Ellen; sister-in-law Ida; and her aunt Brenda; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bev always felt blessed to have been given the gift of her adopted children and her four wonderful grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. Being able to say goodbye to those that meant the world to her was also a gift she didn't take for granted.
Special thanks are given to Dr. Jane Dueck, whose compassion and care during this difficult last year was much appreciated by Bev and her family.
As per Bev’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering fulfilling her final wishes will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Lupus Canada, Siloam Mission, or by simply doing a random act of kindness towards someone less fortunate.
We will always miss your wonderful smile and caring nature, and you will live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace my dear Bevy.

Bev was a lovely and enthusiastic friend and secretary for several years at Balmoral Hall School. She had the loveliest writing and labelled everything in sight. She would say "if you can't file it, Tytgat it" Her smile lit up the room and she spread sunshine to whomever she met. It was a delight to know her. My sincere condolences to John and family.
