It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, W.D. (Bud) Christie at the Riverview Health Centre on April 16, 2025. Bud passed away peacefully on his own terms as set out in his health care directive, with family at his side. He is survived by his sons Duncan (Michelle) and Brett (Carolyne), and grandchildren Zack, Maddison, Ethan, and Kylee. He leaves behind a legacy of service, innovation, and love for family. A funeral service has been planned for May 15, 2025 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 10:00 a.m.
