Effie Yurkowski (nee Stadnyk) passed away peacefully and with family by her side on Friday May 16, 2025 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 93 years.
She was predeceased by her husband John Yurkowski; mother Mary Stadnyk; father John Stadnyk all her brothers and sisters.
Effie is lovingly remembered by her children Peter, John, Mike and Paul. She also leaves extended family and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will take place on May 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish 342 Pritchard Avenue. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
