Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDRE DAVID BARRY MILETTE
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andre David Barry Milette. At just 47 years old, after a ten year battle with progressive MS, Andre left us on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at 7:32 p.m. at the St Boniface Hospital. He will be deeply missed by many. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Nicole Milette, their dogs Lucy, Bear, Wolf, Ruby & Grizzly, his siblings Colette Milette (John Wiebe), Don Milette (Val Milette), Louise Unrau (Mel Unrau), John Milette (Shanna Milette), his nieces and nephews Mia, Alyssa-Mae, Braydon, Kylee, Sydnee, Zoee, Travis (daughters Aubrey and Stella), Curtis and Rylan, and his extended family Keith (Wanda), Aimee (Jon, Alicia, Dallas, Jace, Lainey, Raina), Chris (Paula), Ken (Mansi, Luke), Craig (Amber, Xyra, Daxon), Irene (Steve). He's predeceased by his mother and father Doreen & Roger Milette.
Andre was the youngest of six siblings. He had a passion for the outdoors which included fishing, boating, 4x4'ing, and snowmobiling. Andre brought a lot of joy and laughter to those in his life and would help anyone in need of a hand. During our harsh Manitoba winters, when he was still able to, he would venture out in storms searching for stranded drivers, helping to tow them out of ditches and snowbanks. He was an outgoing and charismatic individual that left an imprint in the hearts of everyone he met.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Andre this Thursday, May 29th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses that cared for Andre during his time at the St Boniface hospital as well as his doctor Kelsey Friesen at the MS Clinic.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Andre's memory to MS Canada online at https://mscanada.donorportal.ca/https:// mscanada.donorportal.ca/ or by phone at 1-800-361-2985

We are deeply saddened with the passing of Andre (brother in-law & Uncle). Definitely gone too soon. Such a fun loving, kind soul. Always so inviting, he’d give the shirt off his back to help out someone else. We had great times visiting in St. Norbert, splashing in the pool, the boy’s shopping trips to Cabelas, a fishing trip to Lac Du Bonnet for some mooneye was a blast. I remember Andre and Nikki driving up to visit us in northern Mb. I took Andre to our camper for a northern MB fishing experience, still can’t believe we got skunked for walleye that day, never happened before or after that, but Andre took it in good stride smiling, laughing, telling jokes such a fun, peaceful day on the water and good times around the fire. Andre was such a great Uncle, always listening intently to what his nieces and nephews were saying. He’d chime in with words of encouragement “cool”, “awesome”. You were one of a kind Andre, you’ll be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace. Our deepest condolences to Nikki.
