HEATHER LYNN MARY GUARINO

June 11, 1953 - May 24, 2025

It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Heather Lynn Mary Guarino at the age of 71.

Heather leaves a legacy of boundless love, strength, and generosity. Beloved mother to Carlie (Rich), Cassie (Jeremy), Kyle, and Charles, and adored by her grandchildren, Reese, Phoenix, Heidi, Matteo, Zackary, and Zoey.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, spontaneously adventuring and bringing people together. Her compassionate heart and joyful spirit made everyone feel like family.

A private Celebration of Life will be held. Donations in memory of Heather may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

  • Wow! This is shocking! I have been thinking often about her recently. My dear friend and colleague from our Safeway days at Ness & Sturgeon store has left us leaving a big void for family and friends. Heather was a dedicated employee with true dedication to her job and other colleagues she worked with during our tenure at Safeway. I will always remember her outgoing personality and charm and ability to make you feel comfortable and welcome. She truly had a disarming personality. Really glad to have met and worked with her on many Wednesday evening shifts at the Ness & Sturgeon store balancing that crazy Form 800 Ledger. She was a whiz at it with her big print and ability to balance the cash and making deposits. Glad I got to meet her a few times after my departure from Safeway. My sincere condolences to her husband Chuck and precious family. Blessings! Marshall Murdock February 2026 - Posted by: Marshall Murdock (Friend and Colleague) on: Feb 26, 2026

  • It was both an honour and privilege to have been a part of your wonderful mom’s last stretch of her journey. The love I saw from her family and her positive spirit makes me wish we had met under better circumstances. Even though she was fighting so hard to stay, she sure showed her love for her kids. My heart breaks for you and you are in my thoughts. Sending you all a huge hug. You are great kids and know that your mom loved you so much. She told me often. And that was why she fought so hard. To Heather: You fought a good fight my girl! Go rest now, knowing the you did a great job and raised wonderful human beings. I witnessed that in my short time knowing them. I know you will be watching over them. Fly free my friend. 🌹 - Posted by: Charlene (Homecare) on: Jun 04, 2025
