MILENA JASNIC
Milena Jasnic passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Winnipeg, at the age of 93.
She was predeceased by her husband Anton, and nine siblings.
Milena is lovingly remembered by her children, Frank (Julie), Yolanda (Jerry) and her three granddaughters.
Milena was born in Slovenia, immigrated to Canada in 1950 and had a career as a seamstress. She was well known for providing zlikrofi for her loved ones.
The family especially thanks her best friends, June and Clive Hickson, Vladka Mohoric and Loretta Cerne.
A Prayer Vigil will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 7:00 p.m. with viewing an hour prior. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 95 MacDonald Ave. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery, 1 Green Acres Lane.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s Auxiliary, 95 MacDonald Ave., P.O. Box 2015 Station Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R3.
