It is with earthly sadness and joy in the Lord that we announce the passing of Helena Epp, of Winnipeg. Lena was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on July 6, 2025. She will be deeply missed by many.
She is survived by husband John, two daughters, Judy Fewings (Bob), Karen Hattenhauer (Martin) and son Leonard Epp (Sascha). Also mourning the loss of their grandmother and for whom she had a special place in her heart, are her grandchildren, Chris Fewings (Leeanne), Tyler Fewings (Catherine), Faith Fewings, Rachel Hattenhauer, James Hattenhauer, Josh Hattenhauer, Anya Epp and Katrin Epp. Lena also leaves behind two sisters and two brothers. She was predeceased by her parents, three sisters, one in infancy, and four brothers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks the staff at Calvary Personal Care Home for their devoted care for ‘Mama Lena’.
A memorial service will be held on July 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery with interment to follow. All who knew and loved Helena are welcome to attend.
