Peacefully on Sunday, July 6, our Aunty Marie passed away at the age of 100 years. She was the last living family member of her generation from the Wywiurka / Turzak family.
She was predeceased by her husband John (Yonko) and eight brothers and sisters and their spouses. She will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Aunty Marie was a meticulous seamstress and furrier. She made all kinds of clothing for her family. She was an avid fan of the Jets, Blue Bombers and curling. She tried to watch every game.
She was laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Assumption Mausoleum as per her wishes.
We are comforted by the thought of her reunion with all those she loved who died before her.
