With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lovey Helen Toonstra (nee Kucy) on July 11, 2025, at the age of 88 years old.
Survived by daughter-in-law, Bobbi-Jo Toonstra; sister, Iris Peterson; step son, Bradley Toonstra and nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
Predeceased by husband, John Toonstra; son, Blair Toonstra; parents, William and Mary Kucy; sisters, Elsie Zasitko and Elizabeth Fryfogle.
Lovey enjoyed her beautiful life, travelling and camping with her family. An avid hockey mom when her son played and she loved sports to this day.
Lovey was a pillar of our family. An example of strength to all. We will miss seeing you Lovey but you will always live in our hearts
